Dr Chamath Fernando is a general practitioner with over 11 years of experience in general practice. He trained in Sri Lanka and the United Kingdom and holds a Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) and a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners (UK).
He has a background in Family Medicine, with previous clinical experience in Anaesthesiology and Intensive Care, and a strong professional focus on integrating palliative care principles into routine general practice. Dr Fernando has also held national and international leadership roles in primary and palliative care organisations.
