Dr Kasun Vithanage

Dr Kasun Vithanage graduated in 2011. He completed the Australian Medical Council Exam in 2013 and commenced working in Australia as a general practitioner in 2014.
Dr Vithanage worked in metropolitan and rural Victoria before he permanently moved to Gippsland in 2017. Before starting to practice in Drouin he was a busy practitioner in Yarragon.
Dr Vithanage obtained his fellowship at Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2019.
Dr Vithanage has completed a training in Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) joint injection. He is providing PRP injections for patients with chronic knee/shoulder problems.
Dr Vithanage enjoys teaching and has been teaching medical students and GP registrars for many years.
In his free time, Dr Vithanage enjoys cricket and he has been a player for the Yarragon cricket club since 2020.
